Are you coming from far away and want to fully enjoy the immersion in the heart of the Laurentians in a warm atmosphere? These two days offer you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the surroundings before embarking on the adventure of the three-day East route. Sleep at the Manoir St-Sauveur, learn about the route with your guide and discover the secrets hidden in the village of Saint-Sauveur.

- An easy route designed for intermediate cross-country skiers.
Hourly
Day 1
- Arrive the day before at Le Petit Clocher and enjoy a hearty breakfast/brunch.
- Departure from the charming village of Saint-Adolphe, where your introductory day to backcountry nordic skiing will begin. The course is adapted to the level of the group.
- Finish the morning by working on your uphill and downhill skiing techniques.
- Warm lunch in the yurt.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a 5 km loop along nearby ski trails and historic paths.
- At the end of the day, return to the village and dine at the restaurant of your choice

Day 2
- Visit the village of Saint-Sauveur.
- You’ll find a wide variety of boutiques, art galleries and shops, as well as the excellent Laurentian Ski Museum.
- If you're a sporty type, you can take advantage of the discounts offered to Manoir guests to ski on the Saint-Sauveur downhill slopes. These slopes were once fearlessly used by Nordic skiers on wooden skis!
- At 5 p.m., meet your guide for a welcome meeting, aperitif and briefing.

Day 3
- Meet at Prévost in the morning.
- Take the snow bus (Inter) to Val-David.
- Visit the heart of the village of Val-David on foot.
- Ski in the footsteps of the Gillespie family between Val-David and Val-Morin over 13 km.
- 3 kilometers of shared trails (classic cross-country skiing and nordic skiing).
- Backcountry nordic skiing in the Val-David-Val-Morin regional park and in the Far Hills sector.
Dinner and overnight stay in Val-Morin.

Day 4
- Enjoy a continental breakfast.
- Ski from Val-Morin to Sainte-Adèle over nearly 20 km.
- Take the Jackrabbit Johannsen and Eddy Fortier trails.
- Enjoy a dinner surrounded by nature near Émile Cochand’s former chalet.
- Progress on cross-country skiing on the P’tit Train du Nord over 4 kilometers.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sainte-Adèle.
- Au Clos Rolland inn
Day 5
- Have a hearty lunch at Au Clos Rolland.
- Warm up by backcountry nordic skiing on the P’tit Train du Nord (1 km).
- Make your way to the village of Piedmont.
- Put down your backcountry nordic skis for a moment at the Olympia Summit chalet.
- Go down towards Prévost via the Alfred-Kelly Nature Reserve.
- Enjoy après-ski at the Shawbridge Microbrasserie near the P’tit Train du Nord.
