A scenic backcountry cross-country skiing adventure in the Laurentians that will offer you a sense of remoteness, while traveling on century-old off-piste cross-country ski trails between the village centers of Morin-Heights, Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard and Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.

Backcountry nordic skiing is a winter activity that dates back thousands of years in Northern Europe. It is also the practice that made the Laurentians region the cradle of skiing in America. Today, backcountry nordic skiing equipment and practices have evolved considerably, allowing for greater ease and comfort than ever before.
