Les Routes Blanches is an initiative led by SOPAIR, a consultation and coordination organization dedicated to ensuring the preservation, long-term viability, accessibility, and development of outdoor trails and other recreational spaces.
This is a project rooted in the history of our communities; a history that is being rediscovered and perpetuated thanks to hundreds of passionate volunteers who maintain the trails, protect and showcase their natural attractions while sharing the history of the places and their community.
A project led by a collective…
Les Routes Blanches relies on local businesses that champion various initiatives to maximize the project’s social and economic benefits—recalling an era when merchants and industry joined forces around a network of Nordic ski trails crisscrossing the region.
